LuciaLucia Kurekova .: Migration in EU :. Lucia is a PhD Candidate at the Department of International Relations and European Studies at CEU. In her research she specializes on political economy of post-communist transition and has done research on foreign direct investment in emerging economies, car industry in Visegrad and varieties of capitalism in CEE. Her dissertation investigates labor migration in the enlarged European Union. In the past, Lucia taught at the Comenius University in Bratislava and worked as a teaching assistant at CEU. She has also worked as a consultant for the World Bank.

KatkaKatka Svickova .: Knowledge and Skills :. Katka is a PhD student at the Department of International Relations and European Studies at Central European University in Budapest. Her research is focused on the role of skills and skill-creation policies in economic upgrading and development of Central and Eastern European countries.

ZdenekZdenek Kudrna .: Banking and Finance :. Zdenek is a PhD student at the Central European University in Budapest and researcher at Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna. His research is focused on financial reforms in emerging economies that are guided by international standards. He has been a consultant to the World Bank and UNDP and served as adviser to the Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic.
